Our team developed a custom web application for Nexa Resources, a leading global mining company with over 5,500 employees and operations in five countries across Latin America. With annual revenues exceeding $2.5 billion, Nexa Resources is a key player in the production of zinc, copper, and lead, consistently ranking among the top producers in the world.

To help Nexa Resources streamline and manage their internal innovation processes, we built a comprehensive platform using modern web technologies to facilitate the end-to-end management of innovation challenges, from idea submission to evaluation and project tracking.

This innovation platform has enabled Nexa Resources to increase participation in their innovation initiatives, track progress more effectively, and make data-driven decisions, contributing to the company's commitment to driving sustainability and innovation in the mining industry.

Key Features:

• Dashboard & KPIs: Real-time visualization of key innovation metrics, including the number of challenges created, user engagement, and global reach. The dashboard tracks participation across multiple regions, allowing Nexa to analyze data from over 7 countries where they have active operations.
• Challenge Management: Tools for creating and managing innovation challenges, including customizable forms, multi-stage evaluation cycles, and automatic progress tracking, fostering collaboration among their diverse workforce.
• User & Access Management: Role-based access control, allowing administrators to manage user permissions and view detailed profiles for over 500 active users within the platform.
• Reporting & Data Export: The platform generates comprehensive reports on innovation performance, with export options to Excel and PDF formats for offline analysis, enabling leadership to make data-driven decisions that impact operations across 10 major sites.
• Graphical Data Representation: Users can generate graphical reports to visualize trends and results from ongoing and completed challenges, promoting transparency and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Form Builder: A dynamic form builder enables the creation of custom forms for different innovation challenges, tailored to the specific needs of various departments and locations within Nexa.
